We believe in 3 basic principles. These define
Sustainable Agriculture as we know it.
- The farmer must be sustained. His input cost must
be reduced while the yield of his crop is maintained or increased. The
farmer is the mainstay of our food source. He must be able to make a decent
profit from his land.
- The soil, water and air must be sustained.
Farmers must immediately start to do their part in cleaning up the soil,
water and air. These are the resources we, as farmers, utilize. We must
begin a cleaning process to ensure these resources for the future generations.
- The consuming public must be sustained. We need
to look to the future to furnish clean and wholesome food for the people
of the world.
