Manure-related odor is caused by the fermentation of organic compounds in livestock manure. Farm For Profit Manure Pit Liquefier works three ways:

1. It establishes the mechanisms which reduce odor.
2. It establishes the mechanisms by which those compounds can be converted into innocuous by-products of metabolic respiration, such as carbon dioxide and water.
3. It converts nutrients to more environmentally friendly forms.
