How Manure Pit Liquefier Works

It's not magic. It's biology - microbiology, in fact. The odor from manure pits is hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide occurs when organic material is decomposing or breaking down very slowly. It takes a healthy population of microorganisms, both anaerobic and aerobic, to do an efficient job of digesting manure. Unfortunately, many manure pits end up with a thick crust that excludes oxygen from the manure, leaving  only anaerobic bacteria to do the work.

Manure Pit Liquefier contains live, naturally occurring microorganisms that thrive in both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. As soon as you add them to a source of manure, they feed on the organic matter and multiply rapidly, creating a living, breathing ecosystem. In days, some of these beneficial microorganisms (aerobic) start consuming the solids on the surface. Others go to work on the solids on the bottom (anaerobic).

Manure Pit LIquefier breaks down solids, converting them to liquids and altering the availability of nutrients - nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and a host of micronutrients.

What growers say about Manure Pit Liquefier:

"After using Manure Pit Liquefier, the vet and feed truck driver commented on the fact that we have hardly any flies and odor had been greatly reduced, because of virtually no soilds in the pit. The Manure Pit is constantly bubbling, thus keeping it constantly mixed making manure more evenly spread on the fields and also greatly reducing odor. Also the fertilizer value of the manure is now in a more stabile, usable form."                    Mike Graham - OH

"In July of 2004 I had a six-foot crust on the far end on my lagoon that made pumping almost impossible. The odor and flies were terrible! I treated my lagoon with Manure Pit Liquefier and Agri-Achieve in August and followed the monthly maintenance recommendations. In Novmeber almost all of the solids could be pumped out. By spring of 2005 my lagoon had no crust, the odor and flies was greatly reduced and pumping was almost 100%.           Tim Potter,  CT
